How Does it Work?

Take a look at the process

You provide details of the property so we can establish whether the installation of MEV is likely to overturn a Technical Monitoring fail. Mostly these will be properties where the rear wall is built on a solid floor.

The underfloor insulation must be installed properly – the MEV ECO unit cannot be installed in situations where the UFI has not been installed to the required standards.

You provide detailed measurements, photographs and layouts for the underfloor space. We design the suitable ventilation strategy based on the layout. This is how the system must be installed. At this stage we can price your ducting requirements and also let you know whether multiple units will be required.

You install the unit to the required specifications. Every install must be completed by an NICEIC approved ventilation contractor. You provide evidence for this aspect of the project which is shared with our Trustmark Scheme Provider and our in-house Retrofit Coordinator. If installed to an acceptable standard with corresponding evidence clearly demonstrating this is the case, we will submit the measure to TrustMark. Use your Unique Measure Reference for the Trustmark lodgement, alongside the declaration that the Unique Serial number for each MEV ECO has been installed to an acceptable standard as proof to show your energy company/funding provider partner to show that the UFI fail has now been fully remediated.

We will provide a certificate of compliance for each successful install which you can provide to your energy company funder or other funding provider. We will share details of the serial numbers sold to you. Anyone claiming to have installed an MEV ECO product without this certificate is unlikely to get the fail overturned.

Please Note: We will not take any responsibility for your evidence being less than sufficient or not of admissible quality and no refunds will be made for units installed improperly and where fails cannot be overturned because of other issues with the underfloor insulation install.
