The Full Benefits of Underfloor Extraction

The MEV ECO has three inlets which allow us to help you design a configuration to extract stale, dead, moisture laden air from the underfloor area thus providing the required level of air changes per hour to show it’s fully ventilated as required under Part C of Building Regulations

Fresh air replaces the extracted air, entering via grilles which must be clear and visible (and at least 75mm from the ground. This method of ventilation will maintain a high standard of air quality all year round.

Easy Installation

Units do not have spigots, ducts can be run directly to the unit for simple install.

Low Maintenance

Units run continuously with minimal cleaning of air valves required.

Quiet

Noise breakout at full speed is less than 37 dBA.

Low Cost

The unit runs very cost effectively and should cost £26 – £30 per year in electricity costs. This must be advised to the customer at the time of installation.

Each unit must be installed with an LED lit fuse spur point in a suitable location. This is another aspect, alongside the installation of the unit which you will have to pay for in order to get the unit installed to the requirements stated.
